Monday night, April 12
th, ESL class “R” had a fun evening outing at the Da-Tong Night Market in Tainan East District. The teacher and six students arrived at the location and started to walk around the aisles and look and enjoy all the various food stalls, games, and items one can buy at the night market. Since it was a hot Monday night, all the students wanted to get a drink and everyone decided to have boba milk tea. There were a lot of different snacks and small foods that we could enjoy like sweet potato balls, Taiwanese sausages, and deep-fried cheese sticks. Some of us also enjoyed ice cream. As for fun, we played games like shooting with a bow and arrow, throwing darts, and shooting a bb gun to win various prizes. The teacher even tried to play a game with Mah Jong tiles that he never tried before with the help of the students. In summary, the students enjoyed a night off of studying after finished their 1
st term exams at school.
